Weekly Update: Dec 25

Merry Christmas everyone! The expectation, the longing, and the ever "to do list" is about to find an end.Advent closes and the season of Christmas begins! Not a day, a season in the church year. The 12 days of Christmas are actually how long the season of Christmas is....all the way to Epiphany. I pray that you find joy and happiness with family and friends as we celebrate the birth of the Christ child once again. If you find yourself struggling and in grief know that Jesus came for you...in your time of struggle and grief. You are not alone. You can bring that to the manger. Let this Christmas time again remind us that God came to bring peace on earth and goodwill to all people. Let those gifts to us help us to do the same.

The Church office will be closed from December 25th to January 1st. We will check messages and email occasionally during that time.

This Sunday, the 28th, will be our Lessons and Carols worship service. If you haven't had enough of singing those wonderful songs, come and enjoy this time together or join us online.

Thank you to everyone that helped make this Advent and Christmas time such a wonderful time of the year. The decorators, the hospitality crews, the worship teams, the musicians, our staff, and of course everyone who comes and is a part of it all!

Oh, and thank you to Santa (Dennis Johnson) for visiting our kids at the Child Center yesterday! What a visit!
